New Release: The Poet's Heart

The Poet's Heart by Alessandro Stella is out today. Going back to January 2021, this is the first EP that Alessandro Stella recorded and produced for his then newly founded label Extended Place. A deeply personal journey into Edvard Grieg's piano music, The Poet's Heart brings together works from often-overlooked collections — Moods, Humoresques, Album Leaves, and Grieg's own transcriptions of his songs — offering a multifaceted portrait of the composer's artistry. Having previously dedicated the album grieg | notturno to Grieg's Lyric Pieces, Stella now explores a different and more intimate selection of the composer's works.
