5 Pieces, Op. 81: No. 1, Mazurka

Composers from the Nordic Council countries have left an extraordinary and still underexplored repertoire for violin and piano. Ivos Margoni and Alessandro Stella assembled this Mazurka by Sibelius as part of an ideal Nordic Suite — five hidden gems, one per country: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden.

Nordic Suite is the recording debut of Ivos Margoni (born 1999), winner of the Premio Nazionale delle Arti.
