About this release
A track from The Loveliest Hours, the first EP by Gemma Bertagnolli and Alessandro Stella — a partnership built over years of shared concert work across a wide range of repertoire.
Recorded live at the Trame Sonore Festival in Mantua, the programme draws on Mozart's songs as condensed dramatic worlds: miniature scenes where voice and keyboard share the task of shaping character, gesture and narrative. The sound is shaped by a replica of an 1804 Anton Walter fortepiano — for Alessandro Stella, his first time recording on a historical keyboard. Co-produced by Extended Place and Oficina OCM.
