About this release
Recorded live at the Teatro Ghione in Rome in 2013 and remastered for the Extended Edition of En Rêve, Canope belongs to the second book of Debussy's Préludes — one of the most enigmatic collections in twentieth-century piano literature. The piece carries the suspended, contemplative atmosphere at the heart of the entire En Rêve project: an invitation into those remote regions of the world of dreams.
